ACTIVITIES:
Throughout our gathering space you will find activities, games and things to do. Whether it is at one of our planned activities, picking up one of the hula hoops to let it swing or feeling the beats from the incomparable Kate Counts and getting up on the stage to groove with your neighbors, we hope you find moments of joy, hope, love, gratitude and celebration today.
ACTIVITIES:
Our Communities Future Art Installation: one of a kind interactive art installation focused on the future of Charleston & North Charleston. Answer this question on a small card: “What does the future of Charleston & North Charleston look like?” and then add it to our wall. Over the course of the day we’ll collectively see what the future looks like for our communities.
Everyone Deserves a Roof: arts & craft station designing small houses with information on housing from SC Housing Justice Network
Plant The Future: plant the seeds today for our future. Use the plant fruit & veg seeds in compostable cups to take home with you.
Thank A New Voter: write/decorate a postcard for a newly registered voter that will be delivered before Nov. 7 w. reminder to vote and learn more from Be The Ones about their pilot program
Books Under the Oak: have a seat, take a rest, grab a book, read to your neighbor or kiddo. This is our community space to gather and get lost in words together.
