Be The Ones is teaming up with Charleston-based artist and friend, Carrie Wooden of Collage Kitsch for Community Collage & Connect. This community gathering & art workshop invites us to co-create collages celebrating and honoring the connections of people, place, and power - while centering joy. Using vintage materials hand-selected by Carrie—saved from forgotten spaces and given new life—we’ll explore how art can serve as both a creative outlet AND a form of resistance.

• No artistic experience needed; just bring yourself and your curiosity

• Light bites, beverages, and all materials to share will be provided

• You’re welcome to bring materials from home or nature to incorporate into your collage (we’ll send you an email with more details once registered).

A $15 donation is recommended to register. We want this event to be accessible to everyone, if cost is a barrier, please send us an email at hello@betheones.org and we’ll send you a promo code for registration.

Now more than ever, we’re excited to be in community with you on February 23rd as we celebrate each other and our deeply rooted belief that weird is cool, art is for everyone, and community keeps us connected.
